A print roll: a fixed number of photographs (24 or 36) that you take in the Latent app, professionally printed at 10×15 cm and shipped to your address in the EU, plus the digital unlock of those photographs on delivery. Prices shown in the app are in euros and include VAT and shipping.

3. When the contract forms

The contract forms when you confirm payment in the app ("Commit"), at the start of the roll. Payment is processed by Stripe.

4. Delivery

Production starts when you seal a full roll. Typical delivery is 2–6 business days after sealing, in a plain untracked envelope. The app shows an estimated status; the unlock code inside the package works regardless of the app's estimate.

5. No right of withdrawal for sealed rolls

Your prints are personalised goods, made from your photographs to your order. Under Art. 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. The app states this at checkout in plain language: "Your prints are made just for you, so the 14-day right of withdrawal ends when you confirm this order." See the withdrawal notice.

6. Lost or damaged mail

If your envelope does not arrive within 21 days of sealing, or arrives damaged, write to support@latent.photography. We keep your frames for 30 days after delivery and will reprint and reship once, free of charge.

7. Your content

Your photographs remain yours. We process them solely to print and deliver your order (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for the content you photograph; orders whose printing would be unlawful may be refused and refunded.

8. Warranty and liability

Statutory warranty rights apply. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence; for simple negligence only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Liability for loss of the digital photographs is limited to the reprint remedy in § 6 — the encrypted originals exist only on your device until you seal a roll, and frames are deleted from our servers after the retention window.

9. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
